Meet The Team

Hi, I’m Christy!

I’ve been lucky enough to call Brownwood and the surrounding area home my whole life. Gardening has always been one of my greatest passions, and in 2017 I began landscaping on a regular basis while continuing my career in the medical industry.

As my love for creating beautiful outdoor spaces continued to grow, I made the decision in 2024 to follow my heart and dedicate myself full-time to Garden & Root.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than taking an ordinary space and transforming it into something beautiful that brings joy every time you step outside. Whether it’s refreshing an existing landscape or creating something completely new, I believe every yard has the potential to become a place you’ll love spending time in.

When I’m not working in the garden, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family making memories and cheering on my grandchildren.
